The Podcast Academy has announced the nominees for the 2025 Ambies Awards, to the people who have excellence in podcasting. Among the list, Jon Stewart and Bowen Yang, are nominated for their outstanding contributions to the medium. The Ambies celebrate top-tier podcasts across various genres, from storytelling and investigative journalism to comedy and entertainment.
The ceremony will highlight 199 nominees across 28 categories with winners to be selected by voting members of The Podcast Academy — in addition to a Governor’s Award.
The Podcast Academy’s Ambies Awards, also known as the Awards for Excellence in Audio, which are given to people for their outstanding performance in podcasting. This ceremony is going to held in Chicago on March 31. The awards are categorised into 28 categories.
Meanwhile the official list of nominees for this particular award has not been released yet. Though high profile personalities Jon Stewart and Bowen Yang are nominated for this award.
The upcoming ceremony includes major categories like Podcast of the year, Best Comedy Podcast etc. The sole purpose is to promote innovation and diversity.
Since their beginning, The Ambies have increased its scope and recognition. The Ambies have also introduced special recognitions, such as the Governors Award and the Impact Award, to honor individuals and podcasts that have made significant contributions to the industry.
